Dawn Spence –
Going into the course, I had very little knowledge of map reading or how to use a compass, so I was looking forward to building these skills.
It was really good to be able to learn everything and then go into the Pentlands to put everything into practice. I definitely came away with a lot more confidence in using the map and compass. Sion made it a really fun day and he was always there to help when we needed.
Andy Gabe – Absolute Escapes –
Thank you to Sion for an excellent navigation course. He arranged a bespoke course for our team which helped build on our existing knowledge and gave us some essential skills for our next adventure in the hills. The course involved both theory and practical sessions and the balance between these was perfect, and we were able to put into practise many new skills. Sion presented the course in a very knowledgeable and engaging manner and I’d have no hesitation in recommending him to others. Thank you for a great couple of days! The Absolute Escapes Team
Scott Smyth –
Our team had a very enjoyable and useful day with Sion learning the basics of navigation. We spent half the day in the classroom and half the day in the Pentland Hills putting our new-found skills to use. Sion was patient and knowledgeable – we all found the course a very useful endeavour, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mapology.
